Adult Stroke Correction

Tip #1 - forget everything you have learnt about swimming, and let coach Spot re-build your stroke!

video Stroke Correction 1 on 1 Lessons

Have you ever been confused about swimming or felt like you are getting nowhere?
Having worked with many of Australia’s best coaches, Spot came to the realisation that what an Olympic swimmer needs to work on, and what a regular swimmer needs are two completely different things!
Be ready to dumb it down a bit, and with some small adjustments you will be shocked how much easier and faster you can become.

Coach Spot will use slow motion video to capture your stroke and show you how to fix it! Prepare to get in & out of the pool to review your very own swim video!
We work from simple to complicated in an order that is most relevant to your own stroke - everyone is different!

What you need:

  1. Flippers - PLEASE ensure you have flippers as we use flippers at all lessons! Rebel Sports have a good range or visit a surf shop!

  2. Kick-board - if you cannot swim more than 200 metres non-stop freestyle please bring a kick-board.

  3. Swim cap, goggles & swimmers.

Weekly ADULT stroke correction squad Charlestown Pool - 3:15pm

Please bring flippers. We use these for a lot of the drills & yes even for faster swimmers!
Minimum standard: there is an expectation you can swim 100 metres non-stop freestyle. Weaker swimmers should also have a kick-board.
Our 2pm Swim Squad precedes the stroke correction so you can add some extra swimming if you would like to!
